This Refund Policy describes when and how CoachPlus issues refunds for the CoachPlus subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to this policy.
1. Free Trial
- New institutes can try CoachPlus free for 14 days with no credit card required
- You can cancel anytime during the trial without any charge
- If you do not upgrade after the trial, your account remains accessible in read-only mode for 30 days, after which data is deleted
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Monthly payments are non-refundable once charged
- You can cancel before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next month
- You retain access until the end of the current billing period
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
- If you cancel within 30 days of an annual subscription start, you are eligible for a pro-rated refund of unused months
- After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but remain active until the renewal date
- Promotional / discounted annual subscriptions may have different terms specified at checkout
3. Refund Eligibility — Special Cases
3.1 Service Outage Credits
If CoachPlus has a confirmed service outage exceeding 24 continuous hours within a billing month, eligible institutes may request a service credit equal to one day's prorated fee per outage day. Credits are applied to future billing.
3.2 Duplicate / Erroneous Charges
If you are charged twice for the same period due to a technical error, the duplicate charge will be refunded within 7 business days of verification.
3.3 Fraudulent Transactions
If your payment method was used without authorization, contact your bank to dispute the charge AND notify us at support@coachplusapp.com. We will cooperate with your bank's investigation.
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@coachplusapp.com with subject line: "Refund Request — <Institute Name>"
- Include: your registered email, invoice number, reason for refund, preferred refund method
- Our team will review and respond within 3 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not refundable regardless of usage:
- Setup fees or onboarding charges (where applicable)
- Add-on purchases (extra storage, SMS credits, custom development)
- Third-party charges incurred via integrations (Razorpay processing fees, SMS sending costs, Zoom subscription, etc.)
- Subscriptions where the cancellation is due to violation of our Terms of Service
6. Cancellation Procedure
- Login to your account → Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
- OR email support@coachplusapp.com with cancellation request
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You can export all your data anytime within 30 days of cancellation via the data-export tool
7. Student Fee Refunds (Separate Policy)
Important: This policy covers refunds for the CoachPlus subscription fees that institutes pay to us. Refunds for student tuition fees collected by institutes through the CoachPlus platform are governed by each institute's own refund policy. Students should contact their institute directly for fee-related refund queries.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective on the "Last updated" date shown at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
