Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoachPlus platform (the "Service") provided by CoachPlus Technologies Pvt Ltd ("CoachPlus", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, OR a coaching institute / educational entity registered in India
  • You must have the authority to bind the entity you represent
  • Accounts created for minors must be created and managed by an authorised institute administrator

2. The Service

CoachPlus is a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service platform that provides:

  • Student management (enrollment, attendance, grading)
  • Fee collection and payment processing
  • Live classes, tests, and assignments
  • Communication tools (notifications, WhatsApp, email)
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Optional integrations (Zoom, Razorpay, etc.)

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • One account per institute; multiple staff accounts under one institute are permitted

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without prior written agreement
  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any person

5. Subscription & Payment

  • Plans and pricing are described on the Pricing page
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Payments are processed via Razorpay; we do not store card details
  • All fees are exclusive of GST (currently 18%) which will be added at invoicing
  • You can downgrade or cancel anytime; you retain access until the end of the current billing period

6. Your Content & Data

  • You retain ownership of all content you upload (student records, course materials, etc.)
  • You grant CoachPlus a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely for providing the Service
  • You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of all data you input
  • You must obtain proper consent from data subjects (students, parents, employees) before uploading their personal information

7. Intellectual Property

CoachPlus and all related software, designs, logos, and trademarks are the exclusive property of CoachPlus Technologies Pvt Ltd. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the right to use the Service per these Terms.

8. Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance where possible
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (hosting, payment processors, etc.)

9. Termination

  • You may cancel your account anytime via the educator dashboard
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data before permanent deletion
  • Refunds for pre-paid unused periods are governed by our Refund Policy

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, CoachPlus's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CoachPlus harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
