Do you use AI in the product?

We use it sparingly for fee-reminder templating and feature suggestions. Not for grading, not for student-facing chat (yet).

Is student data used to train AI?

No. Any AI features run through standard API contracts that prohibit training on customer data.

Is PII redacted before AI calls?

Yes — names, phone, email, addresses are redacted from any prompt that leaves our servers.

Can I disable AI features entirely?

Yes, per-tenant. Some institutes prefer human-only workflows. Toggle in admin.

Can I run multiple branches on one account?

Yes — and it's built right in. Each branch has isolated student data, P&L, and staff, but you can share content libraries, courses, and brand. Available on SCALE plan and above.

Does the mobile app work offline?

Yes. Downloaded recordings, notes, and mock tests work offline. Submissions and attendance sync the moment connectivity returns.

How do live classes work?

We integrate with Zoom — you schedule and join classes from inside CoachPlus, and the recording links back to the batch. Bring your own Zoom Pro account if you have one, or we will help you set one up.

Is there a limit on students?

Each plan has a soft student cap. Stay within it on the flat price; need more, add the +students top-up. We design plans in chunks of 500 / 2,000 / 10,000+.

Can teachers grade homework on mobile?

Yes. They annotate submissions in-app and can auto-grade MCQs.

How long does migration take?

It depends on the shape and size of your data. The founder personally walks every new institute through importing students, batches, fees and past attendance from your CSV / Excel exports — we will tell you the realistic timeline before we start.

Is there a migration fee?

No. The founder personally handles the initial import for our first 100 institutes — included with the plan.

Can I migrate from another LMS?

Yes — provided you can export your data as CSV / Excel from your current platform. We help map it into CoachPlus.

What if I want to leave?

Export everything — students, fees, recordings, content — as CSV / JSON at any time. No vendor lock-in.

Can I keep my existing domain & emails?

Yes. We point your domain to CoachPlus via CNAME. Your emails (@your-institute.com) keep working with your existing email host.

Is there really a free plan?

Yes. The free plan lets you onboard up to 25 students with the full app + ERP + LMS. No credit card. No trial timer. We make money when you grow past 25 students or want add-ons like WhatsApp credits.

What does PRO actually cost?

PRO is ₹4,999 / month annual (₹6,499 monthly). That covers up to 500 students, all core modules, your branded app on both stores, and 5,000 WhatsApp messages / month.

How does annual billing work?

Annual billing is 20% off. You're billed once a year. We send a renewal reminder 30 days before. No auto-renew without your confirmation.

Can I downgrade?

Anytime, with one month's notice. We don't pro-rate refunds on annual plans but credit the unused portion to your account.

Are there hidden fees?

No setup fee, no migration fee, no per-seat charge. The only variable costs are clearly listed add-ons (WhatsApp, SMS, AI credits beyond your monthly allotment).

Do you accept GST input credit?

Yes. We're a GST-registered Indian entity (Bengaluru). All invoices include 18% GST broken out, fully claimable.

Where is data hosted?

India (Mumbai on AWS). All student PII and recordings stored within India.

Is SOC 2 / ISO 27001 certified?

Not yet — we're a beta-stage company. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are on our roadmap as we grow. Until then, we apply the same engineering practices that get audited (encryption, access controls, audit logs).

Is student data encrypted?

At rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Per-tenant data isolation enforced at the application layer.

Are you DPDP Act 2023 aligned?

We're actively aligning our practices to DPDP Act 2023 (consent flows, deletion endpoints, data principal rights). DPDP rules are still being notified; we'll formally certify as the framework finalises.

Do you do third-party pen-tests?

Not yet — we're still small. Continuous internal review on every PR. Third-party pen-test on roadmap.

What's the support response time?

We aim to respond within 2-4 hours during business hours (10am-7pm IST, Mon-Sat). Founder-led for our first 100 institutes.

How do I reach support?

Email support@coachplusapp.com or WhatsApp our team — both responded to by the founders for early customers.

What about uptime?

We host on AWS Mumbai (which itself targets very high availability). We don't publish a formal SLA at this beta stage — we'll add one as we grow.

How long until I get onboarded?

First setup call within 24 hours of signup. Most institutes are running their first batches within 5-7 days.

Do you do on-site training?

We do 1:1 Zoom training during onboarding. On-site training negotiated case-by-case for Enterprise customers.

Does the app show my brand only?

Yes. Your logo, your colours, your domain on the Progressive Web App. Native iOS / Android stores planned for Q3 2026.

Does it install like a real app on phones?

Yes — the PWA installs to home screen with your icon. Looks and behaves like a native app, no download from any store required.

What about email & WhatsApp templates?

Fully branded. Every email is sent from your domain. WhatsApp messages come from your verified business number.

Can I change the brand later?

Yes. Brand changes propagate to web + PWA + emails within 15 minutes.
